Information we collect
- What you give us: your property address, name, phone number, email, when you'd like to sell, the condition of the house, and anything else you tell us on the phone, by text or in person.
- Public records: if we contacted you first, we found your property through public sources, such as county appraisal district records, and data services that compile contact details from public sources.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider automatically logs standard information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure. This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and contact you about selling your property
- To evaluate your property and prepare an offer
- To complete a sale if you choose to sign a contract
- To keep business, tax and legal records
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed:
- With the title company handling a sale
- With a buyer we may assign your purchase contract to, so they can complete the purchase
- With service providers who help us run our business, such as our website and form host (Netlify) and our phone and messaging provider, who may use it only to provide those services to us
- When the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights
Text messaging: We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messages
We text you only if you agreed to it, for example by checking the optional box on our form or by asking us to text you. Messages are about your property and your request. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to get an offer. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to respond to you, complete any sale, and meet legal, tax and record-keeping requirements. After that, we delete it.
Your choices
- Stop contact: tell us on the phone, reply STOP to a text, or email us, and we'll add you to our do-not-contact list right away.
- See, correct or delete your information: email contact@cx2homebuyers.com or call (346) 517-2534. We'll respond within 45 days. Records we must keep by law, such as closing records for a completed sale, may be kept until they're no longer required.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only people at Cx2 who need your information to help you can see it. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.
Children
This website is meant for adults who own or have authority to sell a property. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
